Father's are the foundation of every family, he is the one who works and do his best to give his family are better and happier life. This fathers day, we give thanks to all fathers for their support and for being the best daddy they can be.
This fathers day I gave my father a special gift, a cd about dog training which is his hobby. Though the gift wasn't that expensive, for him it is very special. The value of the gift doesn't matter, the only thing that matter is that it came from the bottom of your heart.
I thank my father for giving his best always and for being there always guiding and helping me. For me he is the best father in the world.
I try to smell the oily cooking scent of fried dishes in the morning but all i can feel is the decaying reminiscence of a figure i used to call "Papa"
I picked up my pencil, looking at the paper filled with nothing but a barren white waste land. The clock is quickly ticking "Tick. Tock. Tick .Tock," it nagged and I've got no idea what to draw or write. Bored and frustrated, i went to my room, hoping to see a good program on tv tonight.
Such disappointment, a bunch of old action movies were aired and a supposed-to-be comedy show when not a single laugh escaped my mouth. Mom walked in to get my share of dirty laundry and asked "Aren't you supposed to be working on it" I looked at her worried, mirroring her own expression. "No idea why too," i replied. She shrugged and left, "Good going, Mom. No pressure at all.
I fell on my soft bed and forced a big sigh. The memory of the untouched paint and new brushes bothered me the most. If only imagination wouldn't have a mind of its own, i would have already finished soaring the water color paper by now.
"BANG!" whew, finally... It was about time when i started my drawing. Yellow and blue dominated a bright piece of artwork. I'm thankful enough to get an idea out of me. My left hand saves me almost every time and this is no exception and is my only hope in making something very special. Across the paper, i knew i needed to write something for the person who gave me more color to my life when i lost someone dear, "Happy Father's Day, Dad!"

Everyday we are blesses in every way
To have a father, like no other
Like "Superman", they are strong
Like "transformers" they protect
Since from our births,
They don't want to be touch by dirt
Since we're babies, until we're men and ladies
Fathers love us so much, not matter what happens
On them children will depends
Children enjoys their company
But sometimes they get angry
Often times they laugh, or make a corny
jokes so laugh! they love their wife
so much, and together problems they'll
patch!
Father tells their real life stones,
To their siblings as memories, lessons
They will not forget, and the love they did not regret
Being a father, it's very hard
finding a work and they are not dork
When it's done, they quickly come back home
They will make you feel special
Like a flower bloom
And in return, to all your hard works
I made this poem
For all the Fathers the whole wide world
To make you all feel special
Not only one day, but to make you feel special everyday
We are lucky mortals
We must not past
Grab the opportunity do not let it dash.
Saying "I LOVE YOU"
That's what we should do
To our fathers, let us say "THANK YOU"!

Merly Almacin-Diaz: Modern Day Hero
by: dianne mae diaz
A simple yet a happy life.....
She is the reason why I'm alive!
She makes my day complete
And to her I believe....!
A pure love they say
an everlasting care for me everyday
Hugs and kisses I must do
To my mother,"YOU'RE MY MODERN HERO"!.....

She makes my day complete
And to her I believe....!

an everlasting care for me everyday
Hugs and kisses I must do

Jessica Verallo: My Modern Hero
Aim high, sore high!
She says without a sigh
In life's twist and turn
That's where we learn
When you struggle, never give up
Until you have captured the victor's cup
There are times we slip down
Even we are close to the golden crown
In success, you don't know how close you are
Yet it may be near when it seems so far
Don't give a pace that is so slow,
Give your best in one blow
So go with the flow with your hardest hit,
Things may go worst but never quit
"Aim high, soar high!"
Even when things happen, yet you don't why

Friane Jade Romero Togonon
She walks with her big tummy
Yelling at anyone so loudly
Specially glaring at strangers
Whom she ceaselessly angers
But as one twilight came,
We all heard her exclaim!
An unknown shadow appeared
Whom suddenly steered
Before we knew it
There was a bandit
And all i can say
"Charlie, you'll get dog food today!"
